I would like to add a footer the bottom of the above frames.

Here's the code so far:

<!doctype html>
<meta content="en-us" http-equiv="Content-Language" />
<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type" />
<title>Untitled 1</title>
<style type="text/css">

#wrapper {width:1010px;margin:auto;}
.container {width:100%;clear:both;}
header {width: 900px; height: 100px; float:right; background-color: #CC33FF; text-align: center;}
nav {width: 100px; height: 300px; background-color: #00FFCC;text-align:center;float:left;}
#logo { float:left; width: 100px; height: 100px; background-color: #0099FF;text-align:center;margin-right:10px;margin-bottom:10px;}
#content {float:right;width: 900px; height: 300px; background-color: #669900;text-align:center;}

<div id="wrapper">
<div class="container">
<div id="logo">
header - similar just has a pic / follows on from logoheader
<div class="container">
hyperlinks go here
<div id="content">
text goes here

I would like it to look like this at the end:

[5px below hyperlinks / text goes here frames]

Thanks for the asisstance in advance :)

In html 5 there is a footer tag you can use it to add a footer.

That is correct but it could just be div under the body. If you have several pages in your website you might want to consider using php. instead of html.

For example you have

$title = " ";
Page content
In the header file you would have all the header stuff including navigation
In the footer file you would the footer stuff
Makes building pages easier
