I am running Avira free and CCleaner.  Last week Avira started popping up warnings about HTML/RCE.Gen3 so I put them in quarantine and ran a scan which identified 7 of them.  I also put the 7 in quarantine.  I thought that fixed the problem but this week another one popped up.  I started searching the internet and there were a number of links that said I should use Spy Hunter to remove the virus.  I installed Spy Hunter and ran it but at the end of the scan it said that I would have to purchase it to remove the unwanted objects.  When I read the fine print it said that there would be automatic renewals.  I did not purchase the program and deleted it from my computer through my Control Panel.

What anti-malware program should I use, preferably a free one and will that program run in conjunction with Avira and CCleaner without slowing down my PC?  Any help or comments as to how I get rid of this virus would be greatly appreciated.
