Hello,

My name is ZeGentz and I got a problem.

Whenever playing games (in this case modded minecraft) the computer at random times stops responding (and the screen reezes on whatever state it was at) and gives out an annoying beep from the speacker. The only way to get the comoputter to work is to hold the power button untell it shuts down. Then restart it.

It does not give a BSOD.

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

Should the app lock up for more than 15 minutes while searching for Network information (it does this in my copy of W10), go ahead and kill the app.  Then navigate to the Documents folder and zip up the 18 reports in the SysnativeFileCollectionApp folder - then upload that with your next post.

While waiting for a reply, please follow these troubleshooting suggestions:  http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-kernel-dump-analysis-debugging-information/35-video-tdr-timeout-0x116-0x117.html#post29532
Also, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

These are video errors, so the troubleshooting should start with the video.

The STOP 0x116/0x117 troubleshooting guide is meant for this purpose (they added the STOP 0x141 errors after I wrote the guide - but it's still related to the TDR error).

Hardware Monitor shows:

Hardware monitor        AMD ADL
    Temperature 0        96°C (204°F) [0x60] (TMPIN0)

and

Processor 1            ID = 0
..........

    Temperature 1        102°C (214°F) [0x65] (Package)

This seems to say that the CPU and the GPU are seriously overheating.

That would be the place to start.  As the errors tend to blame video - start with the cooling status of the video card

- is the fan working?

- is the cooler firmly attached to the GPU?

- is the cooler free of dirt/dust/etc?

Once the GPU is fixed, then take a look at the CPU for the same things.

- is there an adequate supply of cool air getting to the GPU?

No recent memory dumps in the upload (but your other documentation seems to bear out that this is a hardware problem).

Your UEFI/BIOS (version P11-A2) dates from 2014.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

The upload is missing the MSINFO32 report.

Please try running this free program to generate a copy:  http://omgdebugging.com/msinfo-zipper/

Or, you can do this:

MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type (or copy/paste) "msinfo32 /nfo %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter.  Then navigate to Desktop to retrieve the TEST.NFO file.  If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back.  Then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

- is the fan working? Yes.

- is the cooler firmly attached to the GPU?  Sortof. The GPU is integrated with the CPU. It is firmly attached to the CPU.

- is the cooler free of dirt/dust/etc? Yes

Once the GPU is fixed, then take a look at the CPU for the same things.

- is there an adequate supply of cool air getting to the CPU? Yes.

According to AMD Catalyst Control Center Me driver version is 15.201.1151-150821a-188665E.

The latest is apparently 15.7.1 (http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064)

Should I get 15.7.1?

I don't think that the driver version matters to us right now.

The most important thing is fixing the overheating.

There are 2 most likely possibilities:

- the cooler isn't making good contact with the CPU/GPU (to include thermal paste)

- or the sensors are damaged and reporting inaccurate temps.

In order to tell, let the system crash, then unplug it from the wall and open the case.

Things may be HOT!!! So BE CAREFUL!!!

Feel near (but DO NOT TOUCH) the CPU/GPU - is it hot enough to burn you (the temp from the sensor is the heat of boiling water!)?

Beyond that, the diagnostics are really beyond us here in the BSOD forums.

I'd suggest posting over in the Internal Hardware forums for some more expert help with the overheating.
