Hi,

Most often, the system crashes when it unsuccessfully wakes from sleep (in which case, I do not actually see the BSOD), but today, it actually crashed in the middle of my doing something, and I did see the BSOD.

System Information:

· OS - Windows 7
· x64
· This (Windows 7) is the original install of the original OS (updated to SP1, of course)
· OEM
· Age of system - manufactured Feb 2010
· Age of OS installation - I have never reinstalled the OS

· CPU - Pentium Dual-Core T4300 @ 2.10 GHz
· Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family
· MotherBoard - this is a laptop
· Power Supply - this is a laptop

· System Manufacturer - Lenovo
· ThinkPad SL510 2875-CTO

· Laptop

The required logs are attached.

Thank you,

S.C.

Only 235 Windows Updates installed.  Most systems with SP1 have 300 or more.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Please uninstall MalwareBytes.  It's running at the same time as BitDefender and may be conflicting with it.

Feel free to reinstall it once the system has stabilized.
I'd suggest removing the checkmark for the trial of the Pro version - as that's the component that causes it to run when Windows starts.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Several different errors:

- try uninstalling BitDefender and see if that helps.  Enable Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall while testing.  Feel free to go back to BitDefender if the tests pass.

- update your wireless drivers to the latest available compatible version.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Okay, thank you for the guidance. :)  It will probably take me a while to go through these instructions and see their effects on the crashes. You saw from the dump files that the crashes happen sporadically. Please leave the topic open - I assure you that I am continuing to work on it, and I will post again when I have some meaningful results.
