Summary of Win98se update and the proper way to install it.

I would like to see a dummies version summary of what 3.39 will do for this old OS. Also, I downloaded it and put it on my oldest computer with a flash drive but it didn't seem to do anything. Just figured I screwed up something. ... Thanks

Not sure what method you're using, but back in the day you installed from CD. Usually I just formatted the drive and make a directory called win98 on the HD and then copy the cd's entire contents to it and run the installer. That increased the speed of installation.
