Hello,

I just upgraded my computer to Windows 7 Home Premium, and now there is no network available?

Says my network adapter needs driver.

Where do I go to find out what the actual make of network adapter?  Is there a simple way to restore this driver?

Thanks

What is the make and model of the computer? In Device Manager right click each device with a yellow exclamation mark and select properties. Under the Details tab select Hardware IDs in the dropdown box. Copy and post the first line of each device with a yellow exclamation mark.

The computer was built from scratch, so not sure on the make and model.

Okay there are 2 items with exclamation marks:

Ethernet controller -PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_10F0&SUBSYS_00378086&REV_06

PCI serial port - PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B67&SUBSYS_00378086&REV_06

Thanks again!
