After I download and run the installer, the further download stops dead at 59.9%, over and over again.
I run WIN7, with Microsoft Security Essentials, malwarebytes and TDSS killer, ccleaner and spybot
Initially it said I already had an old version of adwcleaner installed but I had no knowledge of this. It then suggested I update - right here on bleeping.
Not sure what the issue is.

Edit: Moved topic from All Other Applications to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Did you download AdwCleaner from here?
Some anti-virus programs may falsely detect the program and prevent it from downloading completely.

AdwCleaner has been around for a while know and someone else (family member, friend) with access to your computer may have downloaded and used it. If AdwCleaner was previously used, be aware that AdwCleaner is frequently updated and, if using an outdated version, you will be prompted to download the newest one.
