Apologies for calling on the services of the BC community again but since I upgraded from Vista I still have a couple of issues.

Firstly, I get the message "The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with" every time I open Task Scheduler, and there are about 80 of these messages relating to different tasks.

Secondly, if I go to msconfig/Boot, Vista is shown as the default, and only, operating system, although when the computer boots up it certainly looks like Windows 7 (Microsoft flag etc).

As usual, any help with these problems really appreciated.
