Hi I am at the end of the rope with this..
I have been trying to convert an original MP4 video clip I created a while ago, called crocodile
tears as I cannot find the original mp3 file, as I may have deleted it by mistake..
I tried using Audacity, but it will not record the
file when I play it using windows media player!
Tried to trouble shoot looking at youtube tutorials..
I am using fl studio, asio4all, and an external sound card usb device..
The settings in Audacity are lambda Lexicon audio which is the correct settings etc, really at a loss here??
I tried to install free.ac which I downloaded from source forge, but I got some many warnings from
my antivirus, I must have pressed allow at least
20 times, that I disabled it and still had problems..
Does anyone have any suggestions it seems like
an impossible task that I cannot perform..
Using windows 7 64 bit...

So, you're trying to extract audio from MP4 video? If yes, I use Pareza Audio Extractor. (CNET download is not longer offers bundled programs when I downloaded it.)

Thank you.

Source Forge downloads have been bundled with adware for some time now. Your security program obviously recognized that and maybe more such as malware.

I've been using WaveEditor from Cyberlink awhile now.  I cheerfully used Audacity for a long time, however, I have yet to find out why it no longer works within my computer :(   WaveEditor is not free.

convert mp4 to mp3 solved!
Hi guys I have found a fix and for anyone who
needs to convert mp4 to mp3..
I have tried using different programs, and also
tried a couple of online ones, one which converted after about one hour but the file sounded terrible..

The one that worked really well and only took a
few seconds was video LAN..
Was very simple to use, and the song file sounded axactly like my original file..
James :)
