I own a Siberia V2 headset and it just stopped working suddenly. I go into recording devices and the bar that shows the level is completely grey - it doesn't pick up sound and just gives out static when I try to talk. I've tried different jacks and different ports - but it's still the same. The headphones work perfectly - it's just the mic.

Hello there,

Have you tried updating your Microphone drives and see if that solves the issue? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/update-driver-hardware-isnt-working-properly#update-driver-hardware-isnt-working-properly=windows-7

Hope this helps!
