I downloaded a mp3 file from amazon, a full album.  I have tried Amarok and VLC but some of the songs will only play for a few seconds most play fine, it is always the same songs.  Also had trouble with the same songs burning to disk.  Don't know what to do from here.

How did you download them? Browser of Download manager?

Is the file you downloaded the same size as advertised by Amazon?

How did you download them? Browser of Download manager?  Did you mean "Browser (or) Download Manager"  I forget Nick, it was a while ago.  I tried a redownload and think i even tried DTA in FF to no avail.  I read something about this happening in Amarok but it is in VLC also.

Is the file you downloaded the same size as advertised by Amazon?  I will check.

Seems that I read that downloading with Firefox will help?  Back to google

Don't know what I did wrong Nick.  I think it was the way I loaded them into Amarok.  I chose the little Folder on the Left, "Media Sources Home" and then "Files" "Browse Local Harddrive for files"  Do you know if this is NOT the way to do this?  Don't know what that function is for then.

This time I just Dragged and Dropped them into Amarok, and it worked fine.
