This only happens when I am watching streamed videos online and gaming. I just installed a new CPU and it was fine for a few days but now this is happenings. The CPU temps are really good. They usually float around 60C when under load. Also GPU temp is around 55C-65C under load. I also have all updated drivers and I removed all my old drivers incase they were conflicting with each other. Any help would be appreciated.

Open up Task Manager and see what's hogging the most resources (CPU, HDD, RAM, etc)

Leave it open and visible while streaming videos/gaming that way you can see it when it happens.

Then open up the Details tab and sort by the column that's hogging the most resources.

And again, leave it open and visible while streaming videos/gaming to see what processes are hogging it the most.

Let us know what you find and we'll move on from there.

Nothing is hogging resources. My processor never goes over 50% when gaming or doing anything else. Also my other hardware is doing fine, their temps and usage are in the safe range. Also the freezing that happens is really weird. The screen and audio will freeze for like 5 seconds then pick right back up. It happens randomly. Yesterday it only happened 3 times, once in the morning and twice within an hour late at night.

Also they happened twice this morning when watching Twitch streams that are streaming at 1080p 60FPS. The higher resolution made it worse. Also streams at that higher resolution eat up about 55% CPU usage compared to 30-35% when watching 720p 60FPS streams. Just thought I would add that information incase it was relevant.

Wait until the system freezes, then do this immediately afterwards (this makes it easier to find the culprit):
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Please follow the instructions for producing, saving, and uploading an .evtx file

They contain more information and are sortable - which helps find patterns.

Another thing to try is leaving Task Manager open on your Desktop and see what it shows when the system freezes.

Start with the Details view and figure out which column increases when the freeze happens.
From there we can figure out which of the resource monitor reports to look at (there's a link to it in the Performance tab).

Also I cant follow the steps exactly. I am on XP. I will upload the evt file. Also I am on a single monitor and the freezes are so infrequent (like 4-6 hours inbetween freezes) leaving the task manager up is really annoying lol.

The log file that you uploaded shows a lot of disk/controller errors.

Please run the hard drive diagnostics described here:  http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html

There are also a lot of errors with networking.

Please download and update the latest networking drivers for your system (both wired and wireless, if so equipped).

If you already have the latest drivers, then:

- download a fresh copy

- uninstall the current copy

- install the freshly downloaded copy.

Ok so I have no Disk errors. Also updated my Network drivers. I think the issue is Audio Driver related if that is possible. After the freezing and buzzing is done my Realtek has a pop-up that tells me my "Audio jack uplugged" then "Audio jack plugged in."

Also the freezes only happen when I have some sort of audio going. Whether its streamed video/audio or in a game with audio going. It never freezes otherwise.

I'm going to have to suggest that you post over in the Internal Hardware forums as I have no skills with audio hardware.

Good luck!

This hanging may occur when the data stored in system is more and ram size is less.
