Work laptop so I don't have my preferred setup.  Anyway, here's what I've got:

Dell laptop running Windows 7 professional, Internet Explorer 9 (less than a month old)

Since IE9 stinks I took it upon myself to download Chrome and had been using that for personal browsing (mostly sports websites, Facebook, etc.).  On Sunday my Chrome browser stopped loading and/or responding to the keyboard unless I moved my mouse.  It seems to come and go but happens less now that I uninstalled Chrome.  I tried running some anti-malware scans but nothing seemed to fix it.  Any ideas?

When you are talking about this work machine is there any chance you are working on a remote session through Citrix?  I also noticed you have LANDesk installed which probably means you have an IT technician either internally or externally supporting your network so the question should probably be posed to them first. However at first glance my thoughts are that you are running as a remote connection and the refresh delay between the external system and your local system appear to be the main reason you are having your current experience.

Always go to your in-house IT first before fiddling because nothing annoys the IT team more than when a third party breaks something trying to be helpful. If they can't resolve the issue then feel free to throw it back here and I will see if I can work with you more to resolve it.

Huh, I turned off the Citrix receiver, let's see if that helps.

I just had a virus issue on my laptop a year ago that wiped everything out so I don't want them to think I'm browsing dangerously.  Seems to me both times it has been while tracking football scores on cbssports.com - maybe their security is lax?
