I have 3 monitors. 1 on VGA (new graphics card), 1 on DVI and another on VGA but plugged into my motherboard ports. I went into my BIOS settings and enabled the use of both of the graphics cards. When I boot, both of the monitors on the external card work but the other one is black with a white bar at the top. When I turn the computer off the monitor shows the ubuntu shutting down thing.

Any help??

I also can't enable the monitor in my display settings also if that is any use.

You can't use both onboard and video card at the same time.
