I did some marketing work for an old client to market their product and I started noticing that afterwards, their clickbank link would pre-populate in certain form fields of my browser when a single field needed to be filled out on a page. This is happening on more than just 1 browser too. It does it in both Chrome and Firefox which I use.

Now...it doesn't happen in every form field so it's just something I see from time to time. But when it happens, it happens upon the page load before I can even click on the form field to fill it out.

I no longer have the clients information to get a hold of them (not that it would help) and I'm just wondering what this could be and how to get rid of it. I run both BitDefender and MalwareBytes on my computer and neither has managed to pick it up as a virus or spyware.

Can anyone help here?

It's probably simply the auto-fill; goto auto-fill section within browser and dump the contents.

I tried doing this (delete auto-prefill from the beginning of time) and it is still pre-populating fields in Chrome.

Now what?
