I downloaded Autoruns & CCleaner but am uneasy on the whole removal process. I read the tutorial for auto runs and am still hesitant. I have heard bad things can happen. I have attached a copy of the notes from CCleaner but unfortunately I am not savvy enough to figure out Autoruns.

Can anyone help me decipher?

You can disable the CCleaner Monitor startup, Brothers printer startups, HPQuickWebProxy, Nuance Communications startups, Adobe Reader startup and the OneNote startup

You can use CCleaner to do that by clicking on each item to highlight and then choosing to Disable on the right.

You can always reactivate the ones you have disabled if it is too much of a nuisance to manually start or it is something you use throughout the day.

You should check the other lists using CCleaner....browser startups and Scheduled Tasks

EDIT: You may want to disable the Leapfrog monitor.exe

From the web:

LeapFrog Connect  by LeapFrog
Publisher's description - “LeapFrog Connect allows you and your children to engage in several important features of your connected LeapFrog toys. You can add or remove files on your toys; view and collect rewards that your child earned during game play; and access valuable parent features.”
A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is leapfrogconnect.exe
