I am not sure what created this problem, but I used to be able to open jpeg files attached to emails (I use Internet Explorer) and now get the "invalid menu handle" message. I ran the Win Sock to fix any probs, but it still won't work. Can't open OR save. Please help! Thanks.

What do you get in your email client instead of the picture?
Is it just showing an attachment or a red X?

What email client are you using?

I am computer illiterate, so I apologize in advance. I use comcast. the image is in the form of an attachment, so when I try to open or save it, an error message appears in a box with a red x. Not sure what you mean by what I get in the email client instead of the picture.

Are you using Internet Explorer as your internet browser and Outlook Express to look at your email or do you go to Comcast's web page to look at your email?
