Bought a computer 2nd hand and it seems internet will only work with Windows 10 Edge Browser.   Chrome, Firefox, and any Malware tool will not install if it requires downloading of additional contents.   Many other programs will not install either since this has started.  I've gotten a few errors indicating dnsapi.dll file is missing.   I was told by windows 10 support section of this forum it might be adware.

You only have one copy of the dnsapi.dll file and they are all the same.
I find it strange that the file is not signed by Micorsoft.
Also searching for the MD5 count (DC014BB50958BBBB537E7F5CE34B2393) does not show any hit on Google.

The file may also be corrcupted.
C:\Windows\System32\dnsapi.dll

Please submit the file for verification to Virus Total.
Go to this site and follow the instructions:
