I have a windows 7 operating system.

I have trouble getting my mouse to select the places I want to type.  It's so bad I thought I would not be able to post this help request. When I can type some of the keys don't want to work, but usually only when I'm on the internet.

When I'm watching a video on youtube, or somewhere else sometimes I'll hear another ones comercial playing, but there will be no other windows open and no pop ups as far as I can tell, and so far I have only used my video player on the internet so as far as I know the trouble with the video player only happens on the internet.

I have Norton as my antivirus and my popup blocker is is set to high.

Oh! I almost forgot that now my computer doesn't want to load certain web pages either.

Sorry I'm posting again, but my computer won't let me edit and I forgot to tell you how my computer is doing.

It seems we might have fixed the video trouble, but everything else is still messed up. Stuff like bringing up the web pages and the typeing stuff.

By the way please excuse me for not thanking you before for helping me, and thank you.

I did what you said and some of the keys are working better, but it runs slower now. When I select a video on youtube it plays just fine, but when I pause it and try to use the up and down arrows it doesn't work. Also if I press the f key the video goes to full screen. I don't know if this info will help, but I hope it will.

If you press the F key only then I think that possibly one of the Ctrl, Fn or Alt key is stock ON and when you press the F key the full screen is activated.

Which program do you use to view the video?
You may have to re-install it or get the latest driver from the Manufacturer.

You may with to start a new topic in the Internal Hardware forum.

Some one with the experience may be able to help.

Well I didn't know about the f key until recently, and that was by accident. One of the keys that doesn't work is the enter key when I'm using the search engine.

What may have happened is either the key isn't making contact with the circuit board because of some sort of debris or it may just be a faulty circuit around the button.

Google this string the enter key is not working and you will find a number of suggestion.

It could be hardware problem. That is why I gave you the link to the appropriate forum.
