My memory card is DDR3 398mhz. I want a new memory but when I look on the Internet I see different levels of mhz. How important is this figure and can I use a different one? Toshiba Satellite C650

Thanks in advance for help

Go to Crucial and use their System Scanner.  This will produce suggestions for RAM which is guaranteed to be compatible with your computer.
