I am trying to combine 2 images into 1 picture for a friend who's in the hospital and needs a smile.  I've been playing around with Gimp for hours, but I still can't seem to make it look right.  Would anyone be willing to look at the image and possibly help me with making it look like it wasn't edited?

Posting the images ,  and what you are after exactly , will make it easier for us to comment.

I use  Adobe Photoshop / Image Ready / etc.

After looking at them we can attempt to do as requested and you can decide what to use.

Plenty of members capable to help you out.

Thank you so much.  What I'm attempting to do is to replace me (the dark haired girl in the first picture) with the girl in the second picture.  I spent hours trying to crop and resize the pics, and no matter what I do, it just doesn't look right. Feel free to resize/edit as you see fit.  I appreciate this.
