Hello. I have a Brother HLL234ODW printer. It's inexpensive but normally works okay. However, when I print envelopes the print is fainter or dimmer than letters. What could cause this and is there anything I can do about it?

Thanks.

Did you change the media type to envelope in your preference settings?

This seems complicated. I can't just stick the envelope in?

You need to select the media type (envelope, thick or thin) and size of the envelope before placing it in the printer.

Edit: The above link is not for your printer but printer preferences should be similar.

Edit: Here is the correct link for your printer. Not exact but close enough.
