Hi my name is GrannieP.  I am not very good at understanding computers and how they work.  I have recently had a problem when trying to log in to Facebook.  Gives me a message of fbstatic-a-akamaihd.net.  I have run 2 scans but dont understand what to do after they have been done.  Any help that anyone can give me would be wonderful.

Thanks in advance

:welcome: to Bleeping Computer.

As a new member be sure to read the Welcome to Bleeping Computer! Guide and the following...If you need individual assistance with malware infection, you should start a new topic in the Am I infected? What do I do? forum

For fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net...Please read this topic. I read a post where a user on Facebook installed Blur (formerly DoNotTrackMe} and that resolved the issue for them. You may want to check it out.
