Just a question (probably foolish).

Often, when download a program, the wholw file is segmented in many parts, so I must wait the full dowload of the first one before to begin the download of the second one.
Is it possible to write something like a batch file, so that he second download begins after the end of the first one?

I am using IDManager for my my downloads, with Win7 Ultimate x64.

I beg your pardon for my dumb question.....

The only dumb question is a question that can be asked but was not asked  :)

I would leave your download manager alone.  I use GetRight, which pretty much does the same thing as IDM.

Diddling with their operations might just cause you more grief than joy.

I am not familiar with IDM but I use the add-on called download them all with firefox. If you set the number of concurrent downloads to one in options it will download the next file selected after the first is finished. Just right click on your file links and select download them all in the context menu. They will be placed in a queue and each will download as the previous is finished.
