fake software

i recently i brought a second hand laptop with windows 7 premium home edittion on. The last few days its been coming up saying that the software is fake and i need to enter product key but ive asked the seller if they have it but no joy. Anyway i can solve this without having to spend a fortune on new software. Any help would be great

Is there a COA sticker on the bottom?  If so try that key!
