Hi there,

I will try to do as much as I can to follow all the instructions for the OP.

I am using Windows 10 64bits, I made the upgrade this summer and had a lot of issues since. I did restored the system but still the same problems...
I have an almost brand new computer (October 2014 built)

AMD FX 8320 8-core Black Edition

ASUS M5A97 R2.0

16gb RAM DDR3 Hyper X

EVGA GTX 970 4GB SSC ACX 2.0

Cooler Master 725w

Obviously Desktop Computer

What I have done :

RAM Test

System Restore after Windows 10 Update (2 months ago)

Drivers reinstall from original CDs, (Asus drivers + EVGA drivers)

Many Anti Viruses and Malware

Many research on blue screens and different tries to remove unsuccesfully

I've had BSOD saying

IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

KMODE EXEPTION NOT HANDLED

ntoskrnl.exe

The following seems to come back around alot  in the Windows Event Viewer :

error in file configuration defenition NT TASK\Driver Booster SkipUAC (olivi

C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Driver Booster\DriverBooster.exe.

I looked for these without results, I installed this program and removed it but it seems to have stayed somewhere in the computer.

I don't know where to check, anymore I need professional help.

Just to let you know in case it helps : I removed in the last couple of months a CPUMiner... And recently found suspicious files in the HKEY local, the only thing is I don't know how to sort it all out...

24h running Driver Verifier, no BSOD or even freeze.
It gets laggy every 5 seconds, but doesn't crash (mouse pointer teleport)

W10 update sometimes has lot's of problems - especially when updating a well-used system.

I'd suggest posting over in the Am I Infected forum:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/
Please read the pinned topics at the top of the forum for instructions on how to post there.

Post back here if the problems continue after they have a look at it.  I've got lot's of suggestions :0)

Driver Verifier will make the system slow - it should perk back up once you shut it off.

Here's some stuff to get started on while waiting for a reply:

Your UEFI/BIOS (version 2301) dates from 2014.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

Lot's of STOP 0x144 errors in the WER section of MSINFO32

This is a bug check related to the USB drivers - so we'll be looking at them and any devices that you may have connected to the USB

Please uninstall the Corsair software - we've seen problems with that in the past

Please uninstall the XBox wireless USB controller.  The older version (xusb21.sys) is a known cause of BSOD's on some Windows systems.  I've seen at least one error attributed to the Xusb22.sys driver also.

Please update the Logitech WingMan drivers also - as they date from 2010.

Alright, Thanks for the help,

I will start a topic in the Infected Section but there are a few concerns I have regarding some drivers

I use a Corair M65 RGB mouse and a K70 RGB keyboard, What should I use? I tough the CUE would be the best thing to use with Corsair product,

I also use a Xbox wireless adapter for my xbox wireless controller, I installed the drivers included with the cd,

And at last I also use a Extreme 3D Pro Joystick and a G25 Steering wheel.

The Logitech Wingman installed recently when I bought the joystick (I had many issues way before that since I have it for two weeks) I tought I used the Logitech Gaming Software as my Steering wheel does...
**When following your update links for LW drivers it leads me to Logitech Gaming software, I guess i should just remove LW?**

I am also already in the process of updating all the drivers listed in red.

Thank you for answering and also the precision of your answer.

Those are really helpfull.

I ask the things that I ask based on my previous experiences.

I'm glad that you disabled the Corsair software.  When the system is stabilized, feel free to reinstall the latest, W10 compatible version of the software.

As for the wireless XBox controller - you have software installed for 2 versions - and one is a known BSOD cause.  Additionally, I've seen some problems with the later version - but not enough to state that it's a BSOD problem.  Regardless, you must uninstall the version that has the xusb21.sys driver - that's a problem!  Again, once the system is stabilized, feel free to reinstall the latest, W10 compatible version of the software.  Should you choose to install software that's not compatible (or you don't know if it is), then that's up to you.

In general the Logitech drivers are usually pretty stable and we don't often see problems with them.  That being said, there's no point in updating everything else and not doing these.

Interestingly, there's only 1 driver marked in red on my copy - how many do you see (and let me know a few of them)?  There are some issues between the software that I use for analysis and the forum software that I'd like to fix.

Asus updates are a complicated thing.  Have you tried to update the Asus AISuite?  It contains many of the drivers that were contained in PCProbe.

Also, it's not often that Asus updates these utilities - so I don't know if you'll find an update or not.  But you can only do what you can do - you can't do any more than that - so if it doesn't update, then that's the end of it for now.

Then we wait......

Should the system BSOD again, please zip up and upload the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump

If you can't zip it up, copy it to your Desktop and zip it up from there.

If you have other problems, post back and we'll see what we can do about them also.

Alright, again thanks a lot for the help, deeply appreciated!

After doing all the steps (the 6 or 7 programs sugested in the Am I Infected section) to remove malware I had ONE freeze couple of minutes after rebooting.
According to the Event Log it was due to DriverBooster files in the Program filesx86

But no BSOD since that time, I have a feeling that the ASUS Motherboard flash did it all. I will reinstall Xbox Wireless drivers and make sure the version you mentionned isn't there (xusb21.sys) **Actually I found a way to use the Windows Built-in Drivers for the xbox360 wireless controller**

And for the Corsair Utility Engine I understant the point of making the computer stable before reinstalling which I will do.

I also updated ASUS AISuiteII it said couple of drivers were actually missing (guess what!!) : ProbeII, Ramote GO!, System Information, TurboY EVO, USB 3.0 BIOS Flashback

The drivers I updated/took actions are the ones in your list that are purple :

I am quite confident on the driver side now! I just need to make sure my computer is not infected, I have some weird files to check.
But my topic in the "Am I Infected" section should be answered shortly!

Thanks again for the help! And i'd like to know if there is a way to paypal you guys!

I don't take donations/paypal/etc

I do this to "pay forward" those who helped me learn about computers.

If you'd like, you can pay it forward also.  It doesn't have to be computer related - just do something for someone else out of the kindness of your heart and with no expectation of a reward.
