Canon IP 4700 does not work on windows 10

Canon ip4700 does not print  with windows 10 ( driver downloads from canon don't work)

Hello and Welcome,

 

Uninstall the driver in Control Panel. Once deleted go to Printers and Devices. Click on the Microsoft XPS Document writer. In the upper window select Print Server Properties. Under the driver tab remove any Canon driver. 

 

Reboot the computer and install the windows 10 driver

Edit: Disconnect the printer's USB cord from the computer before installing the printer driver then follow the driver instructions.
