Hello, I have a Dell XPS l501x and it randomly freezes now and then when I am using it to do daily tasks and freezes every time that I run a game. It used to be every now and then but after a while it started happening every time I was gaming and it got to a point that now if I run a game for 2 minutes it will freeze and I have to dump the computer.
So I opened up the laptop yesterday because after trying every possible software solution I figured that my fan needs to be cleaned. So I cleaned the fan and now it is much better, but it still happens every time, it just takes more time for it to happen. So I was wondering if there are any permanent solutions to this. I was thinking of buying a cooling pad but I'very heard that they might not help that much. Any suggestions? And thanks for time you took to read this.
