Acronis issue

Cannot get Acronis True Image 2012 to work on Win 8.1. Compatibility issue. Is it my system or is it not compatible in Win 8.1? T.I.A.

Are you still having problems updating form 8 to 8.1 ...?.....TOPIC HERE


Condobloke ...Outback Australian  fed up with Windows antics...??....LINUX IS THE ANSWER....I USE LINUX MINT 18.3  EXCLUSIVELY.

Thanks.Yes, but what I am doing is downloading  like, 10-15 at a time, taking forever but am almost done. Found out Acronis 2012 is not compatible with Win 8.

quite correct......HERE  

 

.....and FWIW....if you are transferring files via usb connections.. and attempting to update at the same time.......that may be causing issues.

Macrium reflect free, easeus todo backup free, and  paragon backup&recovery free all support Windows 8. They are freeware.
