Just upgraded from 7 home premium to 10 home premium (64 bit).

Ever been at the store.  Looking for something and not finding it -then notice it's right in front?  I have that feeling right now.

When I turn on the puter it comes up to the lock screen for less than a second then goes to sign in the last user.  I don't want that.  I want a proper login screen with all user profiles to choose from.  This includes the guest account, we're down here in Florida with company coming in in a few months(a true friend visits in the summer),

Thanks so much.

Going to bang my head against the fridge a few more times...

Have you established any other users for W10?

I doubt that it can offer you the option of signing in as another user if no other user has an account.

[just a guess, I'm away from my systems]

I suppose that if you signed out before closing down, you'd have to sign in on reboot.

I have 2 accounts. My lock screen shows the last user (I never sign out) but asks for a pin. The other user's name is at the bottom left, and I can switch to that, if I choose.

Type "control userpasswords2" into the Run dialog (without the quotes)\

and see if it's set to login (if the password required check box is empty).

If it is, place a check mark in the box and reboot to see if that fixed it.

Good luck!

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
