Mabye we could have a new group. :inlove:

Members is basic, then have HJT trainnees an seniors, and HJT team and coaches, BC adivsors, and mods, and then admins.

I say we add a new one!

It can be after members and before HJT trainee.

Called- Cool Members

Wouldn't that be awesome?!? I think it would be! :flowers:

BTW I would like to be in "Cool Members" group!

Evryone can post here and sign my petition!

i like your idea, but maybe instead of COOL MEMBERS, something like Dedicated Members
and it could be diturmined by credible post count, or length of activity, maybe a reputation system?

Great idea....however, I've noticed that promotions are earned by the quality of the content in the individual posts, and the knowledge that the poster (member) displays. The number of posts are just that.....numbers. Allow me to site an example if I may:

I'm not stupid, but I'm no genius either. I was a member of these forums for a short while, helping where I could and when I could with what I could. I got stumped on a topic, and this "member" (group: members) stepped up to the plate and both pollitely and professionally told me what was wrong and how to fix it. Even thogh (s)he had a small amount of posts (less than I did), the information that (s)he provided was bar none top notch. For my own reasons, I "followed" this person reading their posts, and was extremely impressed with their knowledge and willingness to help in a slew of areas, from photo and video, to hardware to the OS itself. When I had maybe 100 or so posts more than he did, he was promoted to "BC Advisor", which he both deserved and earned. This person is non other than Hitsquad, whom I have much respect for, along with all of the staff here at Bleepingcomuter.com.

IMHO, it's not the title, it's what you've done and how you've earned it.

I say to stick with it and show everyone what you've got! You'll be at the top in no time at all

(P.S. if we do create a cool member title, can I get in on that? LOL!!!)

To be honest..... i just add to threads where i can and hope my advice is good.
I'm not really interested in titles!!!! ...... what do they mean anyway? (except a mod, admin or hjt team)
I'm here to help if i can.... the member title means nothing really.
I'm here to help.... not be rewarded with a title of some kind.

Preach, brother!!! I just want to help, and have a little fun in the process. I probably will never have a fancy title (until/unless I hit 1000 posts, and can make up my own title), but that's okay. Having fun and helping people is enough for me!!! :flowers:

Darn...no pay and I would never make the Cool Group!!!! Posted Image
I also just enjoy being able to help out when ever I can, even tho I am far from a genius. A Title for me wouldn't mean much, but I do respect the Admin's,Moderators,Advisors, HJT Group etc. I am equally as impressed by the general knowledge displayed in the BleepingComputer.com Forum.

Having fun and helping people is enough for me!!!

I think that it would be nice for a new group but I do not find a need to add one. There are enough groups as it is and I just recently found out what they mean.

There are people that post alot but do not actually help they make sugestions. I see alot of people that post with very good accuracy but do not have very many posts on the forums because they take their time to help out with really good advice. I take advice from BC advisors and others in a group like that seriously they have alot of experience that I do not have. I am trying to get more and am thanx to everyone here at BC

Ok heres an idea, just leave a post saying you want to be added to the cool members list, and I'll edit you'r name into the first post! Sound cool?

So who wants in?

:flowers: Awww! It won't let me edit the first post. :trumpet:
