Hello. Please let me know what's happening to my laptop after installing Win 10 Pro (for the third time). Several BSODs, I'd say ten, since early August 2015...Here attached the last report by SysnativeBSOD.

Unable to create the Perform.zip file. Thanks for helping me, kind regards, greysmouth BO IT.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version V2.60) dates from 2008.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

With a BIOS this old, I'd have to wonder if the system is compatible with W10.  I'd think that the system would be more reliable and stable with W7.

Regardless, we'll continue trying to fix this until you decide to do differently.

Only 861 MB of free RAM.  Please run only one program at a time, and disable all but the most essential startup items.  If able, check to see if you can add more RAM to the system.

4 ApphelpHardBlock entries in the WER section of the MSINFO32 report.  This indicates at least 4 drivers/devices/programs that are incompatible w/W10 and have been blocked.  I have to wonder how many other programs weren't blocked and are causing problems for you.  More on this later.....

You have 3 wireless driver crashes, 1 video driver crash, and one NTFS file system driver crash in the WER section of MSINFO32:

Out of 5 memory dumps there were 3 different BSOD  (aka STOP or BugCheck) error codes.  The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things (the list is not in any sort of order):
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- dirt/dust/hair/fur/crud inside the case.  Blow out the case/vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to the system)
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems (this includes the possibility that the system is not compatible w/W10)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html or http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html ).

Please get a head start on the hardware diagnostics - they are located here:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Otherwise this tends to look similar to many other problems that we've seen with W10 being installed on well-used systems.

There's a couple of things to try:
1)  Run the following command in a Powershell window that's run as an Administrator in order to re-register the Windows Store apps:
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
From this article:  http://www.thewindowsclub.com/re-register-windows-store-apps

2)  Uninstall your antivirus, then use the removal tool for it (there's a list of most of them here:  http://www.carrona.org/avuninst.html ), then install a freshly downloaded, W10 compatible version.  Some A/V have difficulties with the upgrade, so removing them and then reinstalling them will help how they run.

3)  Download fresh copies of the latest, W10 compatible audio and video drivers for your system.  Then uninstall the current versions from your system.  Then install the freshly downloaded versions.

4)  Get ALL available Windows Updates

5)  Get ALL available, W10 compatible drivers/programs from the manufacturer's website.  If some aren't compatible w/W10, check here about uninstalling them.

6)  Get ALL available, W10 compatible drivers/programs for any add-on hardware and any software that you installed previously.  If they aren't compatible, please uninstall them.

If this doesn't fix things, then post back so we can discuss the following options:
- continuing to attempt to fix this copy of the OS
- Reset of the OS (considering both the "Keep My Files" and the "Remove Everything" options)
- revert to the previous OS
- revert to the previous OS with another attempt at installing W10 (I don't recommend this)
- clean install of the previous OS
- clean install of the previous OS, then update to W10
- W10 clean install

Please update the drivers below in RED.

Links are posted for reference below them

Should these things not help, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Let the system crash at least 3 times so we have memory dumps to compare.

Hi. After reading your reply I decided to revert to Win 7. I think I'm going to install one more time Win 10, once a reliable build would be released. So, I wish to thank you for your huge support and your post I've printed in case of other issues, Kind regards, greysmouth BO IT.

3 things:

- reverting to the old OS may not work.  Backup your stuff first.

- If you choose to update to W10 later on, be advised that the most successful upgrades are done on systems that haven't been used a lot (so you may want to start with a clean install of W7 or of W10)

- don't forget that this is an older system and you may just not be able to run W10 reliably

Good luck!.

Thank you! now running again Win 7 Ultimate SP1 x86. I had some issues as Windows Backup services, Task Scheduler services, but now solved. So you are telling me it would be better not installing Win 10 Pro one more time...I'll be careful. Many thanks again, regards, greysmouth BO IT.

It won't hurt to try it - but don't be surprised if it doesn't work.

Good luck!
