In the last two months, we been having problems with writing to external drives.

We use a robocopy script to backup files to a western digital external drive.

The last few months, we have been having problems as we noticed thousands of errors "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR194 during a paging operation." We have RMA the drive 3 times (including replacing it with a different western digital drive, so we had 2 elements including the original and a passport ultra drive). All 3 drives would end up giving the same error and also their a error "The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur." as well.

Any ideas what I can do to resolve this problem. It is attached to a windows 08 server R2 standard server.
