When creating a bootable USB using Rufus 2.3.709 it begins to create it then suddenly the green line turns green and the error message below appears.

'' Error: Undetermined Error while formating. ''

could this be be because the USB doesn't have enough memory on it, as it is a 4.2 GB USB flash drive (Transcend)?

The options when using Rufus are basically the suggested ones;

Partition scheme and target system type: MBR partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI-CSM

File system: NTFS

Custer size: 4096 bytes (Default)

New volume label: GSP1RMCHPXFRER_EN_DVD

I'm trying to make the USB bootable with windows 7 64-bit.

I used the same flash drive (after formating) and it successfully became bootable with the ''Boot-Repair-Disk-64bit''

so I am guessing there is nothing wrong with the flash..

I'm awaiting the delivery of a bigger flash drive (16GB) Toshiba, because I have the feeling that it's because of the low (4.2 GB) memory that it shows the error message when I am attempting to make the USB bootable via Rufus 2.3.709.

what do you think is the cause of this error?

As usually if the error/problem is the  low memory, it states that in the error message.

any advice and suggestions are sincerely appreciated, Thank you
