laptop ASUS X501A 32-bit OR 64-bit?

Could someone else please confirm  whether an  ASUS laptopX501A is a  32-bit OR 64-bit?

That's easy...since the laptop can run Win 8, it's 64-bit.  A quick look at the specs verifies that.


Most (if not all) systems since the Pentium 4 era are 64-bit systems, capable of running either 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.


It's the Windows version, not the computer itself, that can be 32-bit or 64-bit.

Open the Start menu and right click on Computer.


Select properties from the menu.


The page that opens will show the System type, this will show if the Windows 7 is the 32-bit or the 64-bit version.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
