I'm an old Texas Born, Texas raised red-neck who spent over 23 years in the U.S. military.  Did not start using a computer until I returned to college in '90 or '91 [my big mistake!].  Got the urge to start using my PC again about 18 months ago; it is a love :flowers: -hate   relationship - especially when the hackers come on-line with the big, red screen telling me I have a serious problem and that I must call some toll-free number at Microsoft to get my computer repaired or else.  First time, like a dummy, I called and spoke to some overseas camel driver or goat herder who wanted MONEY to fix my PC!  When it happens now, I turn my PC off, disconnect the modem and phone line for a couple of days and then sign back on later.  YES - I have what is supposed to be very good security programs - both by Microsoft, AVG and others.

My biggest PROBLEM now is that I cut and past a lot when using various word processors.  Sometimes the "CTL C" and "CTL V" functions do not want to work correctly.  I will use the "cut and paste" feature of the software when it is available.

Any ideas or clues on how to clear up or solve my "cut-paste" headache?
