For some time i have been unable to access Firefox due to the 'Couldn't load XPCOM' box popping up at every attempt.  I have tried unsuccessfully to uninstall Firefox also.  I would appreciate help please as i am sure there is a simple solution available to those in the know!  Thank you.

Hello John,

What are you trying to do?  If you want to uninstall firefox, you can use "Revo Uninstaller" or "IOBIT uninstaller".  If it's a problem with FF and you want to keep it, you can try to reinstall FF.  I prefer "Chrome", but it's your choice.

Good Luck,

Mark

Hello Mark. Just trying to get rid of Firefox really. I too prefer Chrome except that i find getting my bookmarks together is easier in Firefox. I will do what you say and give Revo Uninstaller a go.

Thanks for your very quick reply. Much appreciated!

All the best

John

Revo did the job!!
