Using WINXP and Earthlink E-Mail. A friend has been sending me attachments in EML. They will not open. This reminds me of the days when Apple and Windows could not communicate! Is EML some sort of Apple HTML-the attachment was text (some sort of joke). Believe me not a large problem just curious> :flowers: :trumpet:

It is an attached email.
Try Outlook Express to open it.

You might want to scan such attachments for viruses before opening them.

EdBee,

.eml is an extension used for outlook stationary. The person sending likely has created the email with stationary. You can find more information with this MS KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;312355
