On my domain controller in the security event log I am receiving hundreds of 4771 Kerberos pre-authentication failed events for the administrator account.  I have been able to identify that it's from my workstation in which I am using Remote Desktop to connect to our servers.  These events seem to start when my session is idle or is disconnected.  I get these events every second it seems until I log off the session.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve it?

What is the result or failure code for that event log? https://www.ultimatewindowssecurity.com/securitylog/encyclopedia/event.aspx?eventID=4771

It could be a bad user password, or a service or scheduled task trying to authenticate while an invalid or expired password.

Since it occurs when you are using RDP, you should start troubleshooting there.
