Internet explorer has stopped working.

Hi,

I turned my PC on the other day after using it the day before without issue. I attempted to open internet explorer and the error message popped up saying it had stopped working. I clicked try to find a solution online and after awhile it closed the browser. I haven't been able to open it since.

I have turned off gpu hardware acceleration.
I have reset the browser.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it via windows updates.
It's driving me crazy because I cannot access the Internet in my PC at all!
I ended up getting a friend to download the Firefox browser assuming that would be a workaround but I've just launched that browser to the same message. Firefox has stopped working.

I have run malwarebytes and several other antivirus programs and not one thing has appeared in the results.

Can anybody help me??? I had to do this on my phone.

I'm running windows 7.

I am currently having this same problem with IE 10 working with Windows 7.
The only way I am able to get on internet is in SAFE MODE on my computer.
Have you resolved your issue, if so, please tell me what fixed it.
