Spud, I can't tell you anything about the HJT log you posted but I will suggest you make sure you are running the most current browser versions.  The info for Firefox shown in the beginning of your log shows an out-of-date version.

Google Chrome, Version 45.0.2454.85 m

Mozilla Firefox, Version 40.0.3

WinXP Pro sp3 \ Firefox, Panda, MBAM, SAS, SpywareBlaster

That's normal for HijackThis. Just like AdwCleaner, it lists the first version of Firefox that was installed. On one of my machines, the logs show version 19 when in fact I have version 40.0.3 since I've installed all updates as soon as they were released.

HijackThis only shows details for Internet Explorer. It's useless for Chrome and Firefox. Have you tried running Firefox without add-ons (Firefox Safe Mode) and Google Chrome in Incognito Mode? Any difference?

Spud,

What about IE 11? Any better?
