I don't know if I am infected with something, but my computer keeps freezing all the time. It doesn't matter what I do, or even how many programs I have open. For example, all I am doing is reading something in Word, and it will freeze. The type of freezing where everything turns white and on the top of your program it says: "not responding." I can hardly do anything without this happening. And it doesn't just happen once in a while. I sometimes can't do anything for several minutes, then it lets me do a little bit, and freezes again. I am ready to throw this thing against the wall. It is a HP laptop from 2013, and I am running Windows 8.1.
Please help!!
Thank you!
