So it all started about 3 days ago. I turn on my pc and start playing next thing you know bam it just shuts off without giving me an error message or anything. My computer doesn't over heat ever. the highest it gets is about 60 but it is usually at around 30 - 40 c. It's not my power cable either since I switched them with a couple spares I have. In the event viewer all I see is a Dcom error which is caused by having plug and play on manual which I changed to automatic. Also I made it so when my encounters system failure I get an error message but that didn't seem to works it just shuts off. I don't understand why this is happening my brother and I built this pc recently. I dont know if this helps but due to our building being pretty old we usually experience power outages about 3 times a week once or twice a day. Some weeks not at all but still more than normal. I'm attaching a picture of my computer specifications. (screen goes black for 1 sec when playing any game and freezes for a sec) NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960 4G

The two programs I've requested that you install and run will provide us with information about the hardware installed and the last ten Event Viewer log.  The one thing these will not provide us with is the make and model of the PSU.  Please post the make and model of the PSU.

Please download and install Speccy to provide us with information about your computer.  Clicking on this link will automatically initiate the download.

When Speccy opens you will see a screen similar to the one below.

speccy9_zps2d9cdedc.png

Click on File which is outlined in red in the screen above, and then click on Publish Snapshot.

The following screen will appear, click on Yes.

speccy7_zpsfa02105f.png

The following screen will appear, click on Copy to Clipboard.

speccy3_zps1791b093.png

In your next post right click inside the Reply to Topic box, then click on Paste.  This will load a link to the Speccy log.

Please download MiniToolBox to your desktop.

Right-click on MiniToolBox.exe and select Run as Administrator.

You will see an image like the one below.

minitoolbox_zps7byuwkla.png

Click on the following checkboxes only:

• List last 10 Event Viewer log
• List Installed Programs
• List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
• List Minidump Files

Click on Go to start the scan.  Once it is finished highlight the text, then copy it and paste it in your topic.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

You did not follow the instructions for the Speccy correctly.  It should produce a hyperlink which will display the Speccy snapshot when it is clicked on.

Please download Microsft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool.  Clicking on this link will immediately initiate the download.

When the diagnostic tool opens you will see a image like the one below.  Click on Continue.

mgadt1_zpssea2rxt2.png

Click on Copy, copy and then paste the content in your topic.

mgadt2_zpsbrkf74ab.png

If the Copy option does not work, take a screenshot of the content of the image and post that in your topic.

How to make a screenshot

1. Download and run A Thousand Words .

2. Follow the wizard to capture a screenshot

3. Use the built-in editor to resize, edit, or re-capture your screen shot.

4. Your screen shot will be saved to your desktop when you finish the wizard.

You can post the screenshot in your next post as an attachment.

Just below the area where you write text in a post there is the Post button, to the right of this is More Reply Options

You should really recommend "Snipping Tool" it's pre-built onto windows.

& Then some kind of image hosting service, it's much more efficient.

Anyway, here you go.

Also my Windows is not WINDOWS PRO, it's the Windows Enterprise, I was attempting to try to use my cd key, that is not retail but OEM, but it didn't work, I don't know what I was going for... just haven't changed it back anyway.

1.  You should really recommend "Snipping Tool" it's pre-built onto windows.

2.  & Then some kind of image hosting service, it's much more efficient.

1.  The snipping tool is only available in Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.  I wrote this so that it could be used by members who don't have these installed.  Usually those who are aware of the snipping to will decide whether to use the screenshot or the snipping tool.

2.  Most of the hosting services require downloading the image.  I will not download anything to my computer unless I know exactly what it contains.  The other reason is that the image can be and should be posted in your topic.  It takes less steps than hosting the image elsewhere.

I was attempting to try to use my cd key, that is not retail but OEM, but it didn't work, I don't know what I was going for... just haven't changed it back anyway.

You need to get that straightened out.

Where is the Speccy Snapshot?  As I explained previously, you need to follow the instructions precisely to produce a hyperlink in your topic.  If you look at the instructions I posted there are images showing exactly what you need to click on.

I see that you have Utorrent installed on this computer, but you don't have an antivirus installed.  Downloading p-to-p files is one of the quickest ways I know of to become infected.  You need an antivirus.

Open the Search charm and type services in the search box, services will appear below the search box, click/tap on it.

When services opens scroll down to Network Location Awareness, right click on it and select Properties.

The Startup type should be set to Automatic.

The Service status should indicate it is running, if it isn't click/tap on Start.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I didn't see that you had posted the Speccy.  I now see that you are using Windows Defender as your antivirus.

Also forgot to mention, my computer sometimes crashes when I'm on Twitch.TV or YouTube.com watching videos.
