Hey everyone, sorry if this is the wrong section.

I updated avast and my comodo firewall and now I cant see the thumbnails on yahoos homepage:

On yelp some avatars are blank and the stars rating appear as blank.

How do I fix this?

Thank you.

Worth a read, IMO:  https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130703175020AATsOLA .

I would run the chkdsk /r command.

Chkdsk From Command Prompt, Win 7 - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/496613/contextmenu-is-causing-explorerexe-to-crash/?p=3067880

Before doing anything, yahoo seems to have fixed itself. However, I'm still having the same problems with yelp.

I ran chkdsk and am trying to find the log. Event viewer > windows logs > application, and cant find a chkdsk log.

Am I looking in the wrong place/searching for the wrong thing?

Depends...on what either of those logs is wanted for.  Of what use do you think...either will be?  I don't think that either will refect any errors which might shed light on thumbnail issues...but I've been wrong before.
