This seems to happen a lot on both of our XP computers, especially when we first sign into Facebook.   Often get than debug option in the box, which doesn't seem to do any good.

We have the updated version of Adobe Flashplayer, which we suspect has something to do with all this.

After this happens, the computer always to slow down.

Any suggestions?

Script errors...occur at the website visited...are not controllable by any visitor...and have been common for years.  If you see the "script is slowing your system" message, it seems the best thing to do is kill the script, that's always been my chosen course of action for such.

If you're using IE 8 with that XP, those error messages aren't too surprising. That browser isn't supported anymore. Use Firefox or Chrome instead.
