Please do not forget this day! 14 years later and there is now a new tower.

But this image of the rainbow today, coming right out of ground zero ... I thought was very peaceful.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

@boop..indeed the rainbow picture is quite touching!  I'll never forget racing to my son's school to pick him up; how to describe and explain this horrific event to a five year old?

  • Total number killed in attacks in New York: 2,753
  • Number of firefighters and paramedics killed: 343
  • Number of NYPD officers: 23
  • Number of Port Authority police officers: 37
  • Number of employees who died in Tower One: 1,402
  • Number of employees who died in Tower Two: 614
  • Estimated number of children who lost a parent: 3,051
  • Estimated cost of cleanup: $600 million

Bush lover or not:

"Tonight, I ask for your prayers for all those who grieve, for the children whose worlds have been shattered, for all whose sense of safety and security has been threatened. And I pray they will be comforted by a power greater than any of us, spoken through the ages in Psalm 23: 'Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me.' " -- President George W. Bush on Sept. 11, 2001.

Thank you @boop for this thread and to remember :love4u:

The rainbow shows God didn't forget at all.  Every day.  Thank you, boopme, for the photos!

Joke for the day (September 11).

What was the last thing that went through Osama Bin Laden's head when saw the SEALs?

Three rounds from an HK416 assault rifle.
