My registry cleaner has a strange report.

It says:

Software\microsoft\windowsNT\........\Userinit modification found.

Can't set key value user init Error

I really don't know what forum to put this in. I hope this is the right one.

Thanks!

What is your operating system.. his is why we never recommend using Reg cleaners.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

I have Windows 8.1  on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. I'm finding Toshiba likes to really stick their nose into the operating system, wanting to use their own settings in place of Microsoft's. Like they know better.

I believe the reg cleaner was recommended by one of your junior techs. I'll have to see what the reply to the report was and the one before. Maybe I missed something and did it wrong. Hit the wrong button....?

Thank you for your reply. I'm honored to have a Global Moderator read my post! :)) lol
