On this site "http://www.auditmypc.com" it says Iam showing my internal IP through JAVA. How can I prevent this? Should I prevent this?

acklan,

I cant believe you didnt tell me that the site has malware!!!

Googled auditpc and it seems they use the "internal Ip is showing warning" as a scare to scam you into buying software.

Some people are saying patch-management.com atempted to put spyware on the computer via browser.

Also they say showing your internal Ip is nothing to worry about... Why didn't you tell me about this?

I also see people posting hijackthis logs with patchmonitor.zip and being told to delete it.. that cant be good?!?!

First of all It was you who introduced the URL to me. I just tried to help you find the download link. Out of the several billion links out there I could not possibly know them all.
Second before I suggest a site I research it. I never suggest a site that I have not tried, unless it is recommend on Bleeping Computer by some one I trust. I have a computer that I do nothing but test software on Before I put it on my systems.
Lastly, use the google, or you favorite search tool, and research it before you try and download it. I am here to help, not protect. I cannot be there when you tap in every URL. If anyone should be upset, it should be me for you possibly exposing me to malware.
I don't have time to read HJT logs. I am busy in the forum attemptimg to help people like yourself.
I did nothing to deserve you chewing on my tail.
