Here is a link to things I have tried

http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=116894

This is another forum I have been getting help from but they have directed me to you

http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?p=8...ed=1#post828314

All details of my problem are discussed in those threads. I have come to the conclusion that I was infected with a couple virus's and what not and after running Adaware SE (I had been using personal 6.0) It seems to have gotten the main ones, but I want to make sure my computer is completely clean now. Here is my log I apreciate you taking the time to review it.

Hi

Download System Security Suite here:
System Security Suite Download & Tutorial. Unzip it to your desktop.
Install the program. Don't use it yet.

Please print or copy these instructions because you are not able to access the Internet in SafeMode.

Make sure you are set to show hidden files and folders:
A. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
B. Click the View tab.
C. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
D. Uncheck Hide extensions for known filetypes and Hide protected operating system files.
How to see hidden files in Windows

REBOOT into SafeMode by tapping F8 key repeatedly at bootup: Starting your computer in Safe mode

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a check mark next to all these:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mswspl] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [kmvkwmtffe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ssjfwa.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AntiVirusScanv.1.] C:\WINDOWS\AntiVirusScanv.1.3.pif
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [AntiVirusScanv.1.] C:\WINDOWS\AntiVirusScanv.1.3.pif
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [AutoUpdate] C:\WINDOWS\scvhost.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [AntiVirusScanv.1.] C:\WINDOWS\AntiVirusScanv.1.3.pif

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {6685509E-B47B-4f47-8E16-9A5F3A62F683} - file://C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker\Sy350\Tp350\scri350a.htm (file missing) (HKCU)

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

Search for these files and delete them if found:
C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe <-- this file
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ssjfwa.exe <-- this file
C:\WINDOWS\AntiVirusScanv.1.3.pif <-- this file
C:\WINDOWS\scvhost.exe <-- this file. NOTE: there is a legitimate Windows file in the C:\Windows\System32\ folder with a similar name: svchost.exe. Do not delete the legitimate file.
Please note the difference:
scvhost.exe = bad file
svchost.exe = legitimate windows file

Delete this folder:
C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker\ <-- this folder

With all windows and browsers closed.
Clean out temporary and Temporary Internet Files.
A. Open System Security Suite.
B. In the Items to Clear tab thick:
- Internet Explorer (left pane): Cookies & Temporary files
- My Computer (right pane): Temporary files & Recycle Bin
Press the Clear Selected Items button.
Close the program.

REBOOT normally.

Perform a full scan here: Panda Online, follow the instructions on the screed, make sure these are checked:
- Disinfect automatically
- Scan compressed files
- Scan e-mail files
- Neutralize Trojans
and let him remove anything he finds.

Reinstall QuickTime.

Update Sun Java: latest version = J2SE v 1.4.2_06 JRE - http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

Run HijackThis! again and post a new log please.

This file is suspect:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Windrexe.exe <-- this file

Is it a video driver ?

You can check the file here:
Kaspersky Online Virus Scanner

and here:

Please report back.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?
