I'm going to be studying Applied Computing and need a new laptop. I have a maximum budget of £900 and need some advice on what to get; as my current field of expertise is web design and not hardware. I will need a decent machine to run some heavy programs.
My current shortlisted models are TOSHIBA Satellite P50-C-12Z (£799) and ASUS N551JX (£899) http://bit.ly/1Ne03Bh
Both models have what I'm looking for (see below) but I am looking for recommendations or better deals before making a purchase
What I need
·         Intel i7 (preferably 5th generation. 4th is fine too)
·         Dedicated graphics
·         SSD or SSHD (256GB minimum)
·         12GB or more RAM
·         AC-Wifi (not critical but preferred)
What I'll be running
·         Seedbox
·         Chrome and Firefox (normally have a gazillion tabs open)
·         uTorrent
·         Virtual machine with Ubuntu
·         Photoshop CS6
·         Dreamweaver
·         Brackets.io
·         Adobe Muse
·         Unreal Engine
·         Macaw
·         Spotify (generally open for hours)
·         Visual Studio
·         and more
